Art

My life as a professional musician is one way of being an artist, but my curiosity and sensitivity take me to different, sometimes unexpected places. Often this requires a leap of faith, relinquishing control and trusting the creative process.

I love photography. I often take pictures, which I sometimes turn into “photo-paintings”. These are often abstract, removed from literal subjects. Through the use of contrast, light, colour, depth and dimension, they capture an impression and appeal to the sensitivity of the viewer. Like Baroque music, they are all about an “affect”.

Where am I going? I don’t know, but I’m on my way…
